Kith has just released the sneak peak of their 2017 winter collection that should be coming up in the next couple of weeks. This collection is one that seems to go off the main path of what Kith has been in its prosperous, but short lifetime. In this collection we see the addition of parkas, jackets, and many flannels. There are 13 new design silhouettes that are being shown in this release and a complete new style of the Mercer IV Pant. The jackets and parkas are not the usual designs that we see from Kith's Ronnie Fieg, they are jackets that are top of the line Italian shearling, which is a material we have never seen from Ronnie. There also seems to quite a lot more of the camo-print in this collection than ever before. There are sweatpants, a parka, and a hoodie all in full camo-print. These camo-print pieces catch the eye of the consumer and I suspect that will be a hot piece of the collection. This risky design strategy is one that I think will payoff for Kith. Flannels are beginning to make a break through in the streetwear community and these flannels look extremely stylish and quite comfortable.

Double-Pocket Hoodie

My favorite two styles in this collection are the Double-Pocket Hoodie and the Harrison PullOver Flannel. The Double-Pocket Hoodie is a design that Ronnie Fieg has introduced starting with his Fall Collection this year. The hoodies neck comes up almost like a turtleneck and goes straight into the hoodie giving it a futuristic and comfortable look. The hoodie also has two separate pockets at the base instead of the conventional one full-pocket. This design is so innovative and represents where the Kith brand will be going in the future. The reason the Harrison PullOver Flannel looks so appealing to shoppers are the shear look of comfortability. This flannel/sweatshirt looks so comfortable that you could fall asleep in it on a pile of pine needs in the middle of the forest, still be warm and have a great night sleep. The other aspect of the piece that is innovated is the design of the flap pocket on the lower front. This pocket looks great on the pullover and also serves as a great place to store items when walking around in the winter. The Harrison PullOver Flannel is the piece of clothing that I will be trying to get this Saturday at 11am on Kith.com.
