Bape X Dragon Ball Z

Streetwear line Bape has just announced their next collaboration with long-time anime series Dragon Ball Z. Bape is a streetwear line that originated in Japan created by fashion genius Nigo, who has also created Human Made since Bape. Nigo has already done one collaboration with Dragon Ball Z and the items were highly sought after. Therefore, this drop is one that many people are excited for. Personally this collaboration might be my favorite design/collaboration of all time. Dragon Ball Z is one of my favorite shoes, paired with the designs from Bape make this collaboration special.

Bape x Dragon Ball Z T-Shirt

In this drop there are multiple pieces of clothing and a couple of Bape's great accessories. There are hoodies, t-shirts, cups, keychains, and a clock. There is one basic good with Dragon Ball Z characters posed with Baby Milo (Bape's trademark character). There are a couple t-shirts that have the classic Bape head outline and then characters/design within the outline. In the more hyped t-shirts Baby Milo poses with different Dragon Ball Z characters in each one. The characters that he poses with on each tee is Goku, Vegeta, Fieza, Super Saiyan Goku, Shenron, etc. The Baby Milo inspired designs of the characters make the design so crisp and pop to the eye. The designs gets to remind the owner of a great show that they watched. They are playful and cartoonish but professional and sleek at the same time. Everyone color and general design is pretty basic and plain, which is another reason that makes this collaboration appealing. The subtle colors that Nigo uses in this design are perfect and also look painted onto the shirt. This delivery is coming out this week with hoodies starting at $180.
