Nike Air Max 97

A shoe that has gotten a lot of hype and attention over the course of this year would be the Nike Air Max 97's. This shoe is selling out in almost every store for some of its more popular colors schemes. This shoe did a collaboration with streetwear company Undefeated and the style was loved by collectors everywhere. The design was a a mostly black shoe with some red, green, and white thrown in. The presence of the green, red, and white makes the wearer think of the very famous brand Gucci that uses these same type of colors on their clothing. Though these were not the only spin off of the 97's that has made this shoe so popular over the last few months.

Sean Wotherspoon Nike Air Max 97's

The Undefeated 97's were a shoe that many fashion enthusiasts love, but it is not the only 97 style that was loved by consumers this year. The classic 97 that I still think is the best design so far is the silver bullet color scheme. It is basically all the color of a silver bullet that has a reflective look to it. This design was inspired by the bullet trains that are through Japan and why the shoe resembles not only the name of the train, but also the look of it. The shoe is stream-like, slick, and a special silver color to capture the design of the Japanese bullet train. The other 97 design that took the fashion community by storm was the limited edition Sean Wotherspoon design 97's after winning Nike's RevolutionAir design competition. This design is more colorful and has different material than most of the 97 designs. They are multicolored and are made of corduroy which gives the shoe a funky touch to it. My favorite part about these sneakers are the two wave graphics that Wotherspoon but on each of the tongues of the shoe. This gives the shoe a personalized touch to it and makes it look like these shoe are a special piece of art. I think that the Air Max 97's have had a great year and I hope to get the next best design that they are going to be coming out with soon!
